Argonne Forest is known as being an extremely tight-knit and insular community with many residents having resided in the neighborhood for decades. It's one of the smallest neighborhoods in Buckhead with only around 590 residents per the 2010 census.
While many of the houses in Argonne Forest have been rebuilt, some homes are the same single-level ranch homes that were popular when the neighborhood was built in the 1950s. Popular architectural styles in the neighborhood include Traditional and Ranch. The developer clearly had an interest in World War I history, as Argonne Forest was a famous World War I battle. Interestingly, many streets in the neighborhood are also named after World War I battles.
