Historic Brookhaven Real Estate

Put simply, Historic Brookhaven remains one of the nicest and most luxurious neighborhoods in Buckhead. The neighborhood features rolling hills, massive estates, and tree-lined streets and residents who deeply care about the future of their community. The well-known Historic Brookhaven Neighborhood Association has remained an active force within the community for many decades.

The community was built around a massive gulf course owned by the Capital City Country Club, one of the oldest country clubs in the country. Many of the estates in Historic Brookhaven were built prior to World War II and were designed by locally famous architects like Hal Hentz and Neel Reid. The "Brookhaven Historic District" was christened in 1986 by the National Register of Historic Places.

It's important to keep in mind that Historic Brookhaven is separate from the similarly-named Brookhaven, GA. Historic Brookhaven is a part of the City of Atlanta and Buckhead, whereas Brookhaven, GA is a separate city and located within DeKalb County.
